It is always pleasant to present a brand or an entrepreneurial activity that faces for the first time on the complex and demanding Italian market: this time we speak about Quer Professional Boats, a young and dynamic Spanish shipyard proposing a range of innovative boats, well realized and featuring a typical Mediterranean character. Besides the wide range of boats devoted to a professional use, diving and parasailing, there is the range Mediterranea, just meant for pleasure boating and to enjoy the sea. The range includes four models covering most of the requirements of a standard nautical pleasure boating: Q27, a sports boat with a length of seven
meters and a half that allows to practise any water sports., Q35, a comfortable ten meters unit meant to enjoy daily cruise, Q36, that has the same hull as the Q35 but offers a cabin underdeck and a flagship, 42 XL, just launched at the last Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes. Internal and external comfort, wide spaces in the open air, a cabin provided with any comforts and ensuring top performances are the qualities with which Quer Professional Boats faces its many competitors in this market segment. Able to accommodate twelve people, the unit has a length of twelve meters and fifty centimeters and a beam of three meters and a half. The main element of the project is the hull, an advanced carbon reinforced fibreglass exploiting ESDV((Escalones de Sustentación Dinámica Ventilada) patent, a redan system insufflating the air under the hull, increasing its hydro-dynamic supporting characteristics. With outboard diesel and fuel engines powered by some 660 horses in total, you can reach a cruise speed of 35 knots up to 43 knots of top velocity without any particular efforts. The external layout of strong visual impact aims at wider space to sunbathe and to stay with your guests. In fact, there are three areas for the owner, for the crew and for the guests: a large and regular deck is completely protected by a grabrail, may be used as a solarium, fitted with glass-holder, a lot of pillows with an ergonomic design and possible back support. The area is well enjoyable and safe also when navigating. Instead, the central part of Quer 42 XL is devoted to the pleasures of the table and to the helm station, with a large part sheltered with a cloth awning. It is equipped with two tables and a full-beam sofa along the bulwarks up to the control station. Here, you can comfortably have lunch, dinner or chat sipping a drink, relax in wide spaces. The area is provided with a fridge, a cocktail cabinet and you can rest on deck chairs sheltered by the sun.
Towards bow there is the control station featuring very modern lines: three armchairs for the pilot and the co-pilots, with steering wheel in the middle. The aft part is the ideal place where you can enjoy the sun and the sea thanks to a wide sundeck and a full-beam bathing platform. Underdeck there are wide and airy rooms, that can accommodate up to six people. The furniture is simple but comfortable while layout is traditional, with a large bow dinette that can be converted into double berth, a separate head unit, galley and a further double berth cabin abaft. The space is characterized by a light/dark contrast of smooth lacquered white surfaces, light fibreglass, wallnut wood furniture and dark leather sofas.
