Innovazione nel segno della tradizione

The collaboration between the Zuccon International Project Office and Umberto Tagliavini’s Marine Design & Service resulted in the creation of the new Maestro 56, an exceptional yacht in terms of hull lines and internal and external design. Previewed in Genoa together with the Smeraldo 45, the boat features the stylistic elements that have always characterised the range and innovative solutions resulting from a work of functional research. EXTERIORS Available in different and captivating liveries, Maestro 56 has an extremely recognisable line, coming from the merging of tradition and innovation. The Zuccon International Project Office designed the interiors and exteriors that, thanks to maximum transparency, live together in close contact. In keeping with maritime tradition, vertical glass walls were used, while the volumes chosen for the hull and superstructure offer maximum comfort and exclusivity. One of the new elements is the enlargement of the external living area, beginning with the larger and better equipped cockpit whose generous spaces contain a linear sofa with fixed table, a second smaller sofa located on the left, while on the right are stairs leading to the fly bridge, and continuing with the bow area where, in addition to the traditional sundeck, there is also a forward facing sofa that provides additional seating solutions. The fly bridge is also more equipped in terms of useable spaces and annexes. Particular attention was paid to the accessibility of these areas, and the connections between the cockpit and fly bridge have been fully optimised. INTERIORS The choice of operating on the volumes of the superstructure by making the windows bigger has further increased the liveable area of the main deck, which is particularly evident on the bridge. The choice to use vertical glass walls gives the perception of a larger space comparable to that of larger boats. One of the guidelines of this project was to increase the flexibility so that the vessel could adapt itself to the various market demands. To this end, two solutions were developed: one for the European market and one for the US market. The European version consists of an aft galley at a lower level than the living area, which allows creating a real living area and large dining area. The galley in the American version of the yacht is in the forward part of the bridge. Below deck, we find a layout that consists of a large master cabin positioned amidships, another large VIP cabin located at the bow and a cabin with two parallel single beds. The possibilities offered by the Volvo Penta IPS system allows developing a layout with a large crew cabin that can also be used as a fourth guest cabin, accessible by a hatch located underneath the sofa of the cockpit. ENGINES Maestro 56 is equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS engines of 900 hp and can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed estimated at 24 knots.
