It’s a wrap! With the presentation of the 43 and 50 Fly at the Cannes Boat Show and the 43 discussed here, Absolute Yachts has entered the flybridge world. A successful debut that underlines the qualities of the shipyard based in Piacenza, which has managed to move forward even in this difficult period. Absolute 43 Fly has made a great impression, mainly due to its exceptional roomy interior that goes hand in hand with the comfort and rationality of the solutions adopted. EXTERIORS Sporty and elegant lines embrace large volumes. Important heights and comfortable spaces are typical Absolute features, even in relatively small sized boats. The wide windows immediately catch the eye, which not only bathe the interior with light, but also make the overall view harmonious. The design of the deckhouse is extremely balanced, as is that of the fly. The aft deck has a depth that easily allows accommodating a tender. The cockpit features a sofa with a removable element that allows accessing the boat without having to climb over cushions. A disappearing window separates the cockpit from the saloon, thus creating an extremely liveable area. Designed for enjoying the sun and relaxing, the bow of the boat, which can be accessed in complete safety and comfort, is characterised by a large sunbathing lounge with adjustable backrests. A ladder leads to the flybridge whose comforts attract attention at first glance: an explicit invitation to spend as much time as possible here. The aft offers a large dinette, as well as a unit equipped with fridge, sink and on request, a grill. The instruments of the piloting console are perfectly arranged, and found next to the extension of the large sundeck that occupies the area at the bow. The Absolute 43 Fly is equipped with all comforts. In fact, it can also be accessorized with optionals such as a hydraulic bathing platform and a hard top over the flybridge. INTERIORS The interiors are the pride and joy of this boat. The design of the furniture as well as the layout, which includes three large cabins and two large bathrooms, are the real strong points. Let’s start by describing the saloon, where the wide windows emphasise the sober lines of the furniture, which includes a large sofa and an entertainment unit with disappearing TV. The hi-tech helm station is furnished with a comfortable sofa.The lower deck accommodates a fully equipped kitchen, which is well-sized and equipped with portholes for ventilation. The sleeping area includes a master cabin at the bow, with central bed and a good supply of closets and drawers. The master bathroom with separate shower can be appreciated for it large size. The most striking thing is the space dedicated amidships to the two guest cabins, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Both have high ceilings with excellent lighting guaranteed by the large windows. The en-suite bathroom is large with a shower. ENGINES In line with the shipyard’s philosophy on energy savings and the desire to offer the best technology, this model comes with twin Volvo Penta IPS 500 engines, or as an optional choice, twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines.
